RSVP

RSVP is a collaborative collage project with artist Heather Close.

During the isolation period of the global pandemic, Heather and I started a collaborative project called RSVP as a way to fight loneliness and satisfy a desire for connection. We started the project by making small works on paper and delivering them to each other. We then cut and arranged the works shared with us and responded by adding our own small drawings and paintings. The resulting works are a kind of slow and intimate, but distanced conversation.
